Chef and restaurateur Riccardo Ullio, best known for Inman Park spots Fritti and Sotto Sotto, has returned to his Italian roots in Dunwoody by opening Novo Cucina.
“With Italian, I can control the food. I know it intimately. I know how it should be made,” he says.
Taking his heritage OTP, Ullio will bring influences and select menu items from Fritti and Sotto Sotto and adapt them for the more family-oriented residents of Dunwoody. He says Novo falls somewhere between a quick serve concept and a full-blown restaurant. Diners order from kiosks using special RFID cards. Staff is on-hand to seat customers and deliver food. Patrons can also order cocktails from an Italian-style stand-up bar.
Authentic Italian pizza, hand-made pasta, and house-made gelatos combine for a unique and excellent dining experience.
