You know what makes a good weekend even greater? A festival. Especially one that involves beer. So it looks like a great weekend is in store for anyone who visits Dunwoody on Saturday, May 20.
The highly anticipated 4th annual Tap into Georgia Beer Festival is back! Celebrate Georgia's beer makers at Brook Run Park from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be 100+ beers, cider, mead, and wine, plus live music, food, and of course fun! Year after year after year this event sells out fast, so we highly advise you to purchase your tickets right here and now if you haven't already. They're $35 in advance, and $40 after May 11 and $50 at the door if tickets are still available by then. Proceeds benefit the Dunwoody Nature Center, which is a local 501c3 non-profit organization devoted to furthering nature appreciation and environmental stewardship.
Now that you've secured your spot, read on to find out everything you have to look forward to at this unbelievably fun Georgia beer festival.
Tap Into Georgia attendees will be able to enjoy both well-known brewers and those hard-to-find ones too. Tastings at each brewery will be available along with access to on-site food, and whatever green space you can find to relax. The Geeks band will provide some live music to groove to.
Beer tasting, good food, live music, and the good ol' Georgia sun - what else could you possibly ask for on a Saturday? Bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket and let the good times roll.
P.S. If the sun decides to not come out and play, the show will still go on! Yep, that's how we do #OutsideAtlanta in Dunwoody.
The Tap Into Georgia Beer Festival is for anyone age 21 and up. No babies, kids, or pets are allowed. Designated driver tickets will be available for purchase at the gate for $15 and free bottled water will be provided. Uber, Lyft, or walking is strongly encouraged.
