Get Your Craft On

The 2015 Dunwoody Art Festival made a colorful entry this year at its new location at Dunwoody Village Parkway. In its sixth year, the art festival and local Mother’s Day tradition included live performers, food vendors and children’s activities that gave the little ones in attendance the opportunity to make their own art.

With the more than 150 artists in attendance at this year’s festival, the work on display included jewelry, wood art, paintings, mixed media and glass pieces. The event also included a “Chairs for Charity” auction that sold uniquely decorated chairs to the highest bidder. Proceeds from the auction benefitted the arts programs in surrounding schools.

The Dunwoody Art Festival is part of the Splash Festivals art series and was put on in part by the Dunwoody Crier and The Rotary Club of Dunwoody. The festival has been a huge success and continually brings in thousands of festivalgoers each year.
