Dunwoody Arts and Culture

Though a small community, there are many options for experiencing arts, theater and other cultural activities while visiting Dunwoody.  The Spruill Center for the Arts is the largest community arts education center in the Southeast, and it sits right in the heart of the Dunwoody Village.  At the education center, you can take art classes ranging from jewelry, pottery, painting and more.  Visit the website to view upcoming classes.  The Spruill Gallery is located in an historic farmhouse in Perimeter Center. The gallery has been recognized by "Creative Loafing" as one of the best galleries for emerging artists and its shows are often mentioned in local and regional media. Located adjacent to the Spruill Center for the Arts is Dunwoody's community theater, the Stage Door Players. Founded in 1974, the Stage Door Players produces a season of five shows running from September to August. Visit the website for information.
